Non-binary Pride Flag

A flag for non-binary individuals.

Added to Gender Identity Flags, on 12 July, 2015

Non-binary Pride Flag

The non-binary flag was created in February of 2014 by Kye Rowan, when non-binary community members called for a flag to represent their identity, citing they were uncomfortable or non-identifying with the term ‘genderqueer’, and its relevant flag. The flag is intended to compliment the genderqueer flag, rather than replace it.

The flag has four stripes, with: yellow representing gender outside the binary; white representing those who have many or all genders; purple for the ‘mix’ of masculinity and femininity (blue and pink respectively) and black for those without gender or agender.
