Lesbian Pride Flag (Labrys Variant)

Designed by Sean Campbell, who designed the Feather Variant Drag Pride Flag, the flag uses purple – a colour embraced by lesbian communities in the USA during the 1930s, a black triangle – which was used during Nazi Germany to designate anti-social people, such as prostitutes, and then embraced by the lesbian community in the same way the pink triangle was by the gay community, and the labrys – a double-sided axe used by historical matriarchal societies as a harvesting tool and weapon.
